Our standard
We build nametank.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we’ve done
- Text and background colors meet WCAG contrast ratios. Body text is at least 7:1 on dark pages.
- Every link, button, and form field works with a keyboard, and shows a clear orange outline when it has focus.
- Pages use real headings, landmarks, and labels, so screen readers can move through them.
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced and explained in text.
- Touch targets are at least 44 pixels, and form text is 16 pixels so phones don’t zoom in.
- Motion is short, and it turns off if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. The logo is announced as “Nametank.”
- The site works when text is enlarged to 200 percent and at phone widths down to 320 pixels.
Known limits
We test with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and with VoiceOver and NVDA. If something gives you trouble, it’s a bug, and we want to fix it.
