Agreement
These terms are between you and Nametank LLC (“Nametank,” “we,” “us”), and they cover nametank.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. Our privacy policy explains how we handle what you send us.
Using the site
You’re welcome to use the site to learn about Nametank and to get in touch with us. Please don’t:
- Use the site to break the law, or to help anyone else break it.
- Try to get into parts of the site or our systems that aren’t public, probe them for weaknesses, or get around security measures or rate limits. If you find a security problem, tell us at [email protected].
- Interfere with how the site runs, including by sending malware or making automated requests at a volume no person would.
- Send spam, bulk sales pitches, or false information through the contact form, or pretend to be someone else.
- Copy the site’s design, logo, or content, except as these terms allow.
We may block access for anyone who doesn’t follow these terms.
Not an offer
- What’s on this site is general information about the company. It isn’t an offer, a promise, or a contract.
- Job listings describe roles we’re hiring for. They aren’t offers of employment, and a role can close or change at any time.
- Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a request for an offer to buy, any security or investment interest. Any partnership, investment, or affiliate relationship happens only under a separate written agreement signed by Nametank, and that agreement is what controls.
- Descriptions of the business, like how long we’ve operated or how much traffic our sites get, are general descriptions. They aren’t guarantees of future results.
What you send us
Please don’t send confidential or proprietary information through the contact form, or anything you don’t have the right to share. Unless we’ve signed an agreement that says otherwise, sending us an idea or proposal doesn’t create a duty of confidentiality or a duty to pay or credit you, and we may already be working on something similar.
By sending a message, you confirm that what you’ve sent is accurate and yours to share.
Our content
The site, including its text, design, the Nametank name, the logo, and the tank mark, belongs to Nametank LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You can view and print pages for your own or your company’s internal use, and you can link to any page. Anything else needs our written permission.
Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep it accurate and running, but we don’t promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or up to date. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Nametank and its owners, employees, and partners aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, that come from using the site or not being able to use it. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to $100.
You agree to cover Nametank’s reasonable costs, including attorney fees, for any claim caused by your misuse of the site or by your breaking these terms.
Some places don’t allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we agree to those courts’ jurisdiction.
If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term right away, we haven’t given up the right to enforce it later.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date below shows when they last changed. If you use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
